Experienced JavaScript Developer (backend)

Plejd AB is looking for a JavaScript developer to join our developer team in Göteborg/Mölndal.

Ideally you enjoy a healthy mix of front-end and back-end development, a sprinkle of Linux and open-source wizardry and a love for all things web-related.

You will mostly be:
- Developing stuff for our backend API and internal web-based tools.
- Improving existing applications with new feature sets.
- Deploying high-traffic applications to our AWS infrastructure.
- Monitoring live applications to ensure high availability and maintain quality.

You need experience in the areas of:
- Strong JavaScript (ES6, TypeScript) developer with experience developing NodeJS / Express applications and server code.
- HTML, CSS and ReactJS for front-end development for interfacing with backend applications and third-party API’s.
- Databases: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch.
- Experience developing API’s with high traffic and high availability.
-Experience with WebSockets and real-time applications
- Serverless / AWS Lambda and general knowledge of AWS.
- Test-driven development using Jasmine or the like.
