Purchaser

For our client we are looking for a Purchaser

To handle all upcoming purchase tasks depending on workload, such as:
To lead and monitor purchases in complex project with responsibility of coordinating all project procurement activities.
Place PO -orders for aftermarket projects and spare part orders.
Manage call-off orders and refilling stock level, control of delivery in time, reporting delays of incoming goods.

I. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Place purchase and call-off orders.
Follow/Control of delivery of orders on time, alert stakeholder if deviations occur.
Maintain and update the article data base.
Find and report cost-savings.
File maintenance of purchase parameter in Article register.
Be a support in all kind of purchasing questions.
Proposals to develop purchase process.
Lead and coordinate project procurement.
In cooperation with project manager make risk assessment of the critical project purchases that needs closer monitoring and joint decision making.
Plan the time frame for purchase packages readiness to meet overall project time frame.
Together with engineering prepare inquire specifications
Issue and evaluate inquires to suppliers.
Responsible for execution of purchase orders.
Together with project manager take decision on critical purchases and prior purchases of such defined parts/services have a mutual agreement of placing the purchasing contract.
Handling relevant claims.
Control / follow-up the project procurement budget in both pre- and active project with focus on profitability and quality and report deviations to project manager.
Support to sales organization in pre-project issues regarding procurement.
Continuous feedback to cost estimator with regards to price variations on the market.
Cooperate with finance to control/follow up on supplier payments.
