Field Service Engineer

About the job

As our next Field Service Engineer, you will be a part of the Customer Support team consisting of two other highly skilled colleagues. You will be based at our HQ in Stockholm together with the rest of the Excillum team, including Sales, Manufacturing, Research, Development, Business support etc. But you should also expect extensive international travelling.

This is a great opportunity to grow your skillset by handling support to a multidisciplinary high-tech product including everything from electronics, physics, chemistry, fluid dynamics to software.

Main tasks

- On-site support worldwide. This includes installation and commissioning, as well as preventative and corrective maintenance.
- Remote support of Excillum X-ray systems.
- Report customer feedback for continuous improvement actions.
- Elaborate with the team in setting up guidelines and standards of work.

You are also responsible for submitting timely reports such as job sheets, time reports and expense claims. Additionally, it’s significant that you ensure a proper use of our CRM and ERP systems for customer cases, invoicing and spare parts deliveries etc.

To be successful in this position we believe that you have

- At least a B.Sc. in Engineering (Physics/Chemical/Electronics).
- Strong mechanical hands-on aptitude and experience of electronics fault-finding.
- A driving license, and a willingness to travel both internationally and nationally.
- Extensive communication skills in English and a customer oriented attitude.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with an ambition to contribute in creating and setting up processes in the Customer Support team.
