What we do

At Detectify we believe that the internet is broken from a security point of view, and we're working on making it more secure. Our founders are some of the best white hat hackers in the world and they've legally hacked tech giants like Google and Facebook. With this experience, we've built a cutting-edge automated website vulnerability scanner to help customers secure their web applications and fix vulnerabilities before they are discovered by malicious hackers. We want organisations and developers to learn about the security risks in their own code and improve it, while getting more time to do what they love; building awesome products.

In addition to our internal security research team, we collaborate with 150+ handpicked white-hat hackers. We automate this knowledge through our tool to ensure it is the most up-to-date security service in the world. We are trusted by some of the biggest and most widely known companies in the world, such as King, Trello and Spotify. We believe this takes us one step closer to making the internet a more secure place for all its users.

The role

We are looking for people interested in growing within web backend andwant to join ourawesome web team that we are very proud of. We have some of the world's top-ranked white-hat hackers working with us, not only through our crowdsource community but also in our development teams.

We work mostly in PHP andMySQL but if your heart is in other tech and you want to persuade us about its superiority, we'd love to hear you out. The important thing is not what tech you have worked with or that you've worked with security before. What is important is that you are a passionate developer and are eager to learn!

If you join ourweb teamyou will help us achieve our mission by contributing to the development of three of our major platforms: our company web (https://detectify.com/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6IWY9N_23QIVBwuRCh2MGAHKEAAYASAAEgLgs_D_BwE), our Crowdsource platform (https://cs.detectify.com/), and our customer platform. Today the whole team is collaborating on all platforms. As we grow you can niche yourself to the one you find the most interesting.

No matter where you come from we will make sure that you have the ability to be on top of our tech stack by continuously working with competence sharing sessions and creative time that will let everyone try out new stuff, during work hours. We believe in diversity which is why you will have the opportunity to work with people from all over the world, over 15 different nationalities and counting!

By the way, if you have some experience in, or at least interest in Go or Postgres you'll have a bit of a head start.
