The IT/IS organization of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems consists of approximately 70 employees serving the global organization. We are situated at the divisional center ten minutes from Landskrona train station in a modern office.

As System Developer / Engineer iSeries working with us you will be a team member of a highly driven and competent team. What you will be doing
You will be part of the Application Operation team that handles one of our own developed ERP systems, used by one of our largest business areas for industrial doors in several companies in Europe.

You will also work with further change development of our ERP in relation to incoming and decided requests.This role includes research and investigations into existing solutions to be able to define details to the solutions developed, support existing solutions on 2nd/3rd line as well as documentation, distribution and information about changes done to the system.In addition, you will also work and support on additional components used in the iSeries environment.

Your daily tasks will include communication with colleagues and key users around the world.

What we are looking for
We think that you have previous experience from a similar job, working with iSeries and system development on this platform, preferably in a big international or national company.

You have very good knowledge on iSeries operating system level and additional components, and development tool CA 2E (SYNON).

To thrive in our organization you need to be a good communicator, self- and result driven, eager to help out, pedagogical and a team player with the ability to prioritize.

Since English is our corporate language we expect you to have a high professional knowledge and be able to speak, read and write freely when interacting with your international colleagues.
