Ahoy Matey! Our crew of dedicated NPI(New Product Introduction)-Engineers are lacking a captain to take the helm and help them navigate their way through the changing waters that are Tobii.

As our new Head of NPI you will be leading a diverse team of highly skilled Industrialization Engineers in an international environment. Your ability to communicate and make the right prioritizations will be the key to keep your team from running aground!

The NPI-team’s responsibility is to participate in the development and sustaining activities of Tobii’s products as well as being involved in all phases of development projects, manufacturing engineering and life cycle management.

The role and responsibilities
In this role, you will work with driving and developing the global New Product Introduction team You will ensure the successful realization of new and/or changed product designs. This includes securing internal and external capability, capacity and quality of new products or post release changes of a product and contact with suppliers, manufacturing- and test-equipment.

Your days will be filled with

- Setting goals and targets on team- and individual level and following up on agreed tasks
- Driving industrialization and implementation of new products
- Budgeting and planning
- Develop and implement processes and routines related to the team’s responsibilities
- Driving and developing manufacturing test strategy until implementation
- Enabling and enforcing DFM and DFA cooperation with Suppliers, R&D, Service and test

We are looking for someone who has

- Managerial experience, preferably from a global and tech-savvy company
- Excellent net-working capabilities in a true cross functional environment
- Knowledge in different manufacturing processes
- Experience in product testing
- A personal and coaching style of leadership
- A positive and solution-oriented mind-set

We find it to be a strong merit if you currently or previously have worked somewhere that had their production outsourced to Asia.
