Radio Design Engineer

The Electronic, Radio and Antenna Design Department at Sigma Connectivity is expanding and we are looking for a Radio Engineer to become part of our team and our creative work environment where skills and idea development are the key to our success.

You are a Radio Engineer who loves the challenge of technically advanced projects and can deliver solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements. The work involves many contact areas, both within the company and against suppliers and customers. It is required of You to attend business travels and accept job assignments at customers’ facilities. It is therefore important that you have good communication skills and easily collaborate with others. You express yourself well in the English language in both speech and writing. In detail, we are looking for the following requirements:

University Degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics Engineering
Experience within RF platforms
Full experience within all RF instrumentation and measurements techniques
Proven track record of product development process, from concept to launch, incl. type approval
Ability to verify own solutions
Good understanding of development process
Up to date knowledge within the latest modulation standards
Self-motivation with the ability to work with minimum supervision
Good experience of simulation tools (e.g. CST, HFSS, FEKO, ADS)
Good experience of laboratory work (e.g. mock-up creation, soldering)
Good understanding of PCB layout
